Coasteering with Bare Feet Coasteer is a unique and exciting experience. Coasteering gets its name from the activity itself, as it is all about orienteering along the coastline. You will jump, swim and climb, as you explore our beautiful rugged coastline routes here in Newquay. Our three-hour sessions are led by fully trained beach lifeguards and Coasteering experts. You don’t need any prior experience, other than a bit of confidence in the water. Full training, expert supervision and your key equipment are included in the price. We are also the only company to provide photos and video clips of your session from our GoPro cameras within our price. We are based right on Fistral Beach in Newquay, we work directly from Fistral Beach Surf School, just a few minutes walk from our Coasteer routes. Book your amazing Coasteering experience today!
We supply your helmet, a 5mm winter wetsuit, buoyancy aid, neoprene shorts and one of famous yellow rash vests. All you need to bring with you is a towel and a pair of old trainers you don't mind getting wet or a pair of wetsuit boots, these are to protect your feet. £5 ROCK POOL SHOES ARE NOT ADVISABLE.
We ask you to fill in our participation form when you arrive. We have an area for you to change and a room to keep your belongings under lock and key during your Coasteer. Once you are changed we walk to the route, which is roughly 5 minutes away. On arrival we sit you down and give you a detailed 10 minute safety briefing before you enter the water. This covers the key aspects of coasteering techniques you will need to know for your session. Once the briefing is completed … off we go. We explore the coast, finding places to jump, swim and traverse. We also bump into an array of local seabirds and even the odd seal.
The jumps are fun; we will progress from small starter jumps of a couple of feet up much larger ones; if you are happy to do so. We never pressure guests into jumping anything they are not 100% happy to do, there is always an alternative. It is huge fun and we are right there with you every step of the way to make sure you have the most amazing time!

Itinerary
Our Coasteer sessions take approximately three hours out of your day. Roughly one hour of this will be kitting up and kitting down as well as a 10 minute briefing. - OUR YOUNGEST AGE IS 8 YEARS OLD - THIS IS DUE TO SIZE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO BE A MINIMUM FIT
- WE DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN UNDER 18 WITHOUT AN ADULT (18+) ACCOMPANYING THEM.
- WE TAKE PHOTOS OF THE COASTEER SESSIONS WHICH WE SEND TO YOU AT NO COST. WE MIGHT USE ONE OR TWO SHOTS OR VIDEO's FOR SOCIAL MEDIA OR ON OUR WEBSITE, SO PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT PHOTOS TAKEN ( WE DO NOT USE SHOTS OF CHILDREN ).

Cancellations
Custom Policy
- Cancellations and Refunds
a) Should you cancel your booking for any reason up to seven days before the commencement of the session, the initial deposit will be forfeited.
b) Should you cancel your booking up to four days before the commencement of the session, Bare Feet Coasteer will require 50% of the full cost.
c) Should you cancel your booking up to three days before the commencement of the session, Bare Feet Coasteer will require 75% of the full cost. d) Should you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the commencement of the session, Bare Feet Coasteer will require 100% of the full cost. e) No refunds will be offered for cancellation which arise from circumstances that are beyond the control of Bare Feet Coasteer. If a session has to be cancelled due to there being fewer than the required number of participants for the coasteer, Bare Feet Coasteer retains the right to offer alternative activities or to transfer the booking to another date.
f) Any cancellations must be notified in writing or by email to Bare Feet Coasteer and will be effective from the date of receipt.
g) Bare Feet will offer a full refund if sea or weather conditions are deemed unsafe by Bare Feet Coasteers designated Lead Guide allocated for the booking.
